Blogging Ben the Bachelor - The FINAL rose!

The finale is finally here! I have mixed feelings about this season. Ben is swoon worthy, but honestly he has fallen in love a bit too much for live television. Is it possible to be in love with two people at once? It was also hard to stay away from the spoilers this year, simply because it was so damn predictable. My feelings for Chris Harrison, apparently, are not as strong as Shelby's, but he was looking dapper as ever last night during The Final Rose.

They head back to Jamaica for some more sun and love. Do we really think Ben's mind is not made up? I am always so unconvinced at this point. How could you not know who you are more in love with? But, men are different. In the words of a guy friend we went out to dinner with recently, "You have 25 hot chicks wanting you and falling in love you, ya I love watching that show!" So, hey maybe men have fun with it up until the very end.

Lauren shows up and meets Ben's parents. Ben's dad gets right down to it and ask Lauren the hard question. Lauren tells his mom that she sees the world differently because of Ben. Well, ya he has flown you all over to fall in love with him. I feel like that would help me see things differently too. She is confident in the fact that Ben is the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with and is ready to be a part of the Higgin's family.

Jojo is up and she is there to tell his parent's that they were do busy "cuddling" to see the Hoover Dam. Awkward, but hey real life, am I right? She reassures his family that she is crazy about Ben and there is no one else that she would rather be with. Ben's mom basically says that her pick is Jojo and that she is pretty confident in that. But hey the powers of editing are an amazing thing, so not reading too much into that. I love that Ben's dad calls Lauren a great gal, how cute is that?

Lauren loves her some denim shorts, doesn't she? They had off on a catamaran for their last date as boyfriend and girlfriend, potentially! Ben says he has a lot of unrest, due to loving two woman. Ben is worried that with Lauren things have not been tested and that things are too perfect with her. All valid issues, but you have been on like two dates with her, so honestly whats the worst that could happen? Back at the hotel, Lauren basically lays it all out for Ben and his response is not confident. Just once I think I would have loved for Lauren to be all out in love and do something crazy.

Lordy, Ben really greats Jojo a lot differently than he greeted Lauren. They have a romantic date at the waterfall and Ben tells her that he has having a hard time. Back at Jojo's place she asks him what is holding him back, and he says that he has no doubts. Jojo is sneaky, man. Taking him into the bathroom floor and asking him to give her a sign. She might have forgotten that they both have mics on, but hey that is the fun of the show.

Neil Lane comes out and asks Ben to tell him about "her". And he makes it obvious he has no idea what he is doing or who he is picking. Queue the clips of all the good times, Ben has super cute things to say about both women. He then says he knows who he picking. So, Neil is the one who actually helps Ben pick the winner of his heart. Thank you, diamonds!

Jojo steps out of the helicopter, and Ben has already made it pretty clear, to the audience, that he is not picking her because he loves someone else. She says that Ben has promised to not blind side her, Survivor style, and she hopes he doesn't do it today. BAM! Blindside, my heart goes out to her. But hey I feel like in their contract they are signing a line that says they are OK with having their heart broken on live television.

I feel like I need to do a bracket next year, because from the first post I said that Lauren was the winner. So, yay for me (and Ben and Lauren, obviously)! As cheesy as her Grey's Anatomy analogy was, it was so cute to watch. I am not going to lie, I shed a tear or few. It was cute and how could you not be happy for Ben? He is such a good guy and has been a decent Bachelor to watch!!

It has been fun blogging The Bachelor. And I think Jojo will be an exciting season, filled with craziness from her brothers and more wine chugging from her mom. I am thinking of convincing Shelby to blog with me throughout the The Bachelorette, since you all LOVED her post. Isn't she great? Thank you to each and everyone of you who took the time to comment, like and share my Bachelor recaps. See you next season!!

Blogging Ben the Bachelor - Week 9

My watch party consisted of myself and Luke, we had a wild time and ate all the Animal Crackers that our bellies could handle. His pick for the night is Caila, let's see if he is right...

The night is here, overnights on the Bachelor. As awkward as spending the night with someone on national television would be, imagine sleeping in your hotel room the next two nights, knowing that he is spending the night with two other women. Insert the weirdness. Ben heads to Jamaica and starts the show with speaking about each of the women and what he likes and dislikes about his relationship with each one. Shut the front door, Jojo was the unicorn girl? Why did I not remember this?

Caila is first up on the overnight dates. Would you want to go first or last? I think I would rather go last, make sure he remembers the night! They are going on a rafting trip down the river, which has potential of going all sorts of wrong. The boat ride is crazy awkward, and Caila says she is feeling anxious due to the other women being there. I can't help but feel like this may be a game changer, his main concern with her is that she may not be able to deal with the bad stuff and this is proving that.

Caila and Ben riding down the river

Caila saves the day by telling Ben that she loves him and that she has been waiting to tell him that. I love Caila's confidence in Ben and the fact that she has given him no grief this season. One day the Bachelor's will figure out that the girls who are the least high maintenance are the best ones to pick. Caila wakes up and totally has the, "I got out of bed a hour ago to get ready look," going on, but she seems happy and ready to get married. She is OK with Ben not saying, I love you back, because she can tell by his face that he loves her.

Next up is Lauren and as the season favorite, we have to think that this will go well. They start the date by releasing baby turtles and speaking from experience this is such a fun idea. Good for Ben, his date planner producer is really going for it this season. Cute date, horrible shorts, but cute date!

releasing turtles in Jamaica

What's Jamaica without a little Reggae music? Blah, blah more about how scared she is about telling Ben how she feels. This is bizarre to me, honestly, just tell him. She says pretty much everything else, but I love you. She has every excuse including that it's terrifying, it makes her vulnerable and a whole slew of other things. The key arrives and off they go to the fantasy suite. After much lead up, she tells him she loves him. And not so surprisingly, Ben tells her that he has known he has loved her for a long time.

Next up is Jojo. He starts the date by saying that if he doesn't know he loves her by the end of the day, he will say goodbye to her. They head to a waterfall, where Jojo says that she loves him and Ben tells her that he loves her too. Her immediate reaction was, "are you allowed to say that?" Which hey I would be worried to, it makes sense.

The date goes on and it seems like Jojo has had to explain her brother's behavior before, because she does really well explaining away their crazy. She doesn't address her mom's love for wine, but hey we have all been there before. They escape to the fantasy suite for no doubt a night filled with romance.

Ben tells the world no less than 25 times that is in love with two woman, and he is not sure what to do. Caila is not one of them, which is funny because right at that moment she is headed to surprise Ben at his house. She is literally jumping around the house with joy, looking for Ben, this can not end well.

Ben turns out to be the good guy and he decides to let her go, right there on the beach. Caila decides she does not have a future in facial expression reading and leaves immediately. Tomorrow, when Luke wakes up I will tell him that he does not have a future in picking who the Bachelor chooses. It's a dramatic exit, with a Caila jumping out of the care, demanding answers. She also leaves crying and saying that she can't understand why she hasn't found love. Well, good thing she is young and she has her whole 20's to find a partner (I might have stalked her on Instagram last night and found out she graduated college 93 weeks ago)!

An extremely awkward Rose Ceremony follows this dramatic exit. And while the scenery is breathtaking, the looks during the toast could call. Both girls are in love, move out of the way...

Fantasy Suites Rose Ceremony

Ok, truth, this season has been somewhat boring. I have heard it from a few people. I am not sure if it is Ben or the girls. I am leaning towards the girls, they are a fairly boring bunch. I had high hopes for this season, thanks to the wonderful ways of editing and showing just enough for us to watch the next week.

I am so excited to tell you all that my friend, Shelby, will be guest blogging next week! She is hilarious, so make sure you read and laugh along after the Girls Tell All!

Happy watching,

Did you see my last post, featuring Lily and Thomas? Don't forget that I have a giveaway going on Head over to my Instagram, for all the details on how you could win an amazing cardigan from Lily and Thomas!

Blogging Ben the Bachelor - HOMETOWN week!

It is here! I am so sorry for the late post this week. Monday was a WILD day for me, and honestly I needed an early bedtime, but here we are the week of hometown dates on the Bachelor. I love this week, because I love to see how crazy the Dad's think this show is and why they do not think you can find love on national television. I can only imagine what KB² would have thought if I would've gone on the Bachelor and made it to hometown week!

Amanda:

Ben heads to Orange County to see Amanda and the kids. Can I just say this is going to be a disaster? I don't see Ben being super comfortable around children. I can not imagine not seeing my kids for a month and than having to do a homecoming with someone that has never even meet them.

The beach proves to be the kid's happy place, and Ben is ridiculously cute with the girls. On the way home, there is crying and toddler chit chatting, and Ben describes the car ride as rough. Welcome to parenthood, Ben. It's rough. Amanda's dad says that Ben looks like a deer in headlights when they get back to the house. Amanda says that she is in love with Ben, and she can see him making a great husband and father to her kids. Honestly, this is what I was thinking was going to happen. Not too eventful.

Lauren:

Ben heads to Portland! They visit the food trucks in Portland, be still my heart. They head to the whiskey library, my husband immediately wants to visit Portland after seeing that venue. On a side note has anyone seen that Subaru commercial with the dogs in the car, I love that commercial! Ok, back to Portland.

Ben meets Lauren's family. That dinner looks AMAZING, and Ben is pulled away from it by Lolo's sister. The guy can't catch a break. She announces her skepticisn and asks Ben what stands out about Lauren. I love that question, but instead of answering it, Ben starts to cry. My husband said, "Dude, he can cry on demand?" Always nice to have a guy's point of view bring you down to earth from swooning over an emotional guy.

Lauren's sister makes Lauren cry and it is obvious that Lolo's sister may be on a future Bachelor.
Lauren ends up not telling Ben she loves him, which is bizarre.

Caila:

Ben heads to OH-IO ! Caila admitted that she doesn't really have a home since she moved a lot growing up, but Hudson was the first place she felt at home. They head to the toy company that Caila's dad runs, just a small company called Step2 (kidding, it is a large company), and they design their very own playhouse. What a cute idea! Caila is really growing on me, and hey the fact that their kids would have all the Step2 toys that their heart desires, doesn't hurt!

Caila's family is super cute and super honest with Ben. I love Caila's dad, he is so sweet to her and I love that he trusts his daughter when she says she is in love. Caila calls her parents, Mommy and Daddy, which is slightly uncomfortable. And she decides to not tell him that she loves him, either. No wonder Ben is getting frustrated with this process. I feel like these girls are definately not making it easy on him!

Jojo:

Lastly we head to Dallas, TX to see JoJo's hometown. She starts reading a letter, all smiley and happy, and realizes that the letter is from her EX. This is classic and I love it. Finally, some drama that is much needed in this season. Listen girls, out of sight out of mind will make them all come back.  Jojo decides to call her EX, and let him know that he succeeded in getting his five minutes of fame. Back to the Bachelor, Ben arrives at Jojo's house. Ben gets the jealous look, which suits him I must say.

I don't think I have ever brought a bottle of wine to my parent's? Typically, their stock is pretty good by the time I show up! Do we think that is from her or from Ben? This is a Texas house, ya'll! Her dad pretty much says that their is no where else to live besides Texas, and Ben seems to disagree. Obviously, her brothers don't watch this show and may not even know that he has 3 other ladies involved. Maybe her mom and dad too, they all seem confused and want answers that he can't give. Did anyone notice Jojo's mom? A lady after my own heart..

Is Jojo's older brother a TV pastor? I am sure they are coming from a somewhat genuine place, but lord have mercy give Ben a break! There is always one hometown that goes completely crazy. Let me be the first to remind everyone, you marry the family too, so make sure you love them just as much!

Rose Ceremony:

Lauren
Caila
Jojo

Amanda does not receive a rose. She is classy up until the end, good for her!
We are almost to the final rose, ya'll! I can't even believe it! Make sure to check the linkup to get their opinions on last night's episode!

Happy watching,

Blogging Ben the Bachelor - Week 7

Another Monday, another bottle of Chardonnay. My life has been CRAZY lately. I am not going to lie, up until roughly 4 hours before Monday night started, I thought the special was tonight and not on Valentine's Day. So, I was thinking I would have a relaxing night on the couch, but was reminded that I would instead be drinking wine and blogging the Bachelor. So, here I am. Don't disappoint me, Ben!

1-30 minutes:

Ben and the girls are in Warsaw, Indiana, which is Ben's hometown! They sit down at a cute little diner and Ben explains all of the girls to his parents. Meanwhile, the girls arrive in the town and look absolutely smitten with Warsaw. Ben pulls up in a pontoon boat, which is so Midwestern I am cringing. Speed Boats? No! If you grew up in the Midwest you grew up driving a pontoon boat on a lake or a man made river.
For those of you who have no idea where Warsaw is (or what Indiana looks like), I have attached a map for you!

Photo cred - Wikipedia.com

Lauren B. is picked for the first date and is given 30 minutes to get ready for the day. They start the day off by driving around the town. Lauren looks downright terrified. She is thinking that this town is straight out of a movie, and it is not impressing her. Where is she from again? Ben would work at a Youth Club growing up, I mean could he get any more picture book fairy tale? Good lord! The half court King, Ronnie, makes the shot which means that Ben has to kiss Lauren in front of 30 little kids. Some of the players from the Indiana Pacers show up, and of course the kids are ecstatic.

Lauren wants to chat with Ben about the comments made at the last group date. Ben reassures her that one thing being said is not going to change the way he feels about her. I still believe that she is going to be in the top two. Ben wears his heart on the sleeve with her, and though she is a bit harder to read, I think it is way mutual. And hey flight attendants can fly out of anywhere, right?! Ben takes Lauren to his local dive bar. Hello! Most perfect date, ever. Good thing my husband and I are from the same home town, so we get to gobble up Coach's pizza and people watch at our favorite dive bar every time we come home!

31-60 minutes:

Jojo heads to Chicago to meet Ben for a 1:1. They head to Wrigley Field, where the Cubs play, and of course the jumbo screen has a message for Jojo and Ben. Joj (as Ben calls her) has grown on me and I like Ben when he is with her. She also seems to genuinely have a good time when she is with him.

Most of this date is spent back at the house filming the other girls complaining about being in love with a man that 5 other ladies are in love with. You would think the house being wired with microphones and cameras, would remind them that they are in fact on a reality show but I guess not. I guess when you get rid of Olivia and Lace it leaves really boring and uneventful T.V....

They have dinner on the field, hello dream world, and she reassures him that she is ready to give herself to Ben and she feels herself falling in love with Ben. She does seem to be moving a bit slower than the other girls, which is odd, but she is being true to herself I suppose!

Photo Cred - people.com
61-90 minutes:

The group date heads to a farm in Indiana, don't act surprised! He gets in a rowboat with Caila at the beginning of the date, and of course Becca and Amanda are not too thrilled with that decision. All of the girls seem to be over the group dates, making this date even more awkward than watching Amanda run in heels. Ben announces that whoever he gives the rose to will stay on the date, and the other two will head back to the house. Becca feels like she is being left behind and is not really sure why she is there. You would think after two attempts you would have the concept down, but guess not.

I love how honest Caila is during her time with Ben. I love that she explains herself as moldable, but for some reason I do not think Ben is finding that super assuring. Ben decides to give Amanda the rose, since he feels she needs to feel confident in order for him to come back and meet her family. Becca and Caila are left at the farm, depressed and wishing they had the rose. Becca says she doesn't want to feel like this about a man she is falling in love with. Because being on the Bachelor means that you will be getting one on one attention 24/7 and there aren't 25 other girls trying to fall in love, just kidding!

Ben takes Amanda to McDonalds, yes you read that right! I am sure she has bought her fair share of kid's meals but I do not think she was expecting to serve them on live television!

Want fries with that?

They head to a carnival, have some fun on the merry go round and the carousel. It is a cute date, and obviously him giving her the only rose of the night (other than the rose ceremony) speaks volumes! So good for Amanda!

91-120 minutes:

Ben and Emily head out on the pontoon, she proceeds to admit that she doesn't really know what a swan is. In her defense, out here in the desert we don't really have swans, so I kind of get it. Caila calls Emily a "bright eyed puppy", saying that to her everything is new and exciting. I could not agree more. Thank you, Caila. Sometimes when Emily is giving her interviews, I have to double check my guide and make sure I am not watching that one show about Hugh and his girlfriends. She admits to Ben's mom that her biggest dream is to be a NFL cheerleader, and that she wants to be married young. This poor girl, this editing is not helping America's view of her.

Emily admitting that her dream is to be a NFL cheerleader!

I am sure Emily is a great person, and definitely looking forward to seeing her on the field, but she is about to be completely blindsided. Ben says goodbye to Emily due to the fact that she is not wife material. Love how humble and sincere she is in the limo, props to you, Emily!

Meanwhile, the rose ceremony gets under way! Ben is confused and seeks some good ol' fashion Bachelor advice from the main Bachelor himself, Chris!

Rose Ceremony:
Amanda has a rose from the group date.
Lauren
JoJo
Caila

Becca does not get a rose!
She is upset, obviously and says that she didn't want to be blind sided. Ben says that he needed all the time he could get, which is why he waited until the rose ceremony.

Next week is hometowns and honestly, who doesn't think this is the best episode of the season? Make sure to check in with everyone else in the link-ups and get their feelings on last night's episode.

Happy watching,

Blogging Ben the Bachelor - Week 6

This morning my phone rang, and when I picked it up my Granny very loudly told me that Ben is making out with too many people and she is sick of not seeing the cities they are traveling to. Part of me agrees with her and part of me thinks this is a good season. I for one, am super excited to see Ben standing on the edge of a cliff, with the wind whipping him around, in a great suit and him doing a swan dive into the ocean. A girl can hope, right? So I am watching tonight and will recap as I have this whole season!

Let me be the first to say that I do not think Ben will send Olivia home, I think he is too nice to take back a rose.  I also think that once again girls are shooting themselves in the foot, but bringing this to his attention, but hey these girls don't seem to learn from past seasons.

And now the drama continues ....

1-30 minutes
All of the girls think Olivia is going home. Ben pulls her away and she explains herself. She walks back into the room and the ladies, mainly the twin, are not happy. As I said, I am not surprised.

Rose Ceremony

Caila
Amanda
Jojo
Becca
Leah
Emily

No rose:
Jennifer

Ben announces that they are headed to a lot of sun and beach, the Bahamas!! Bring on the bikinis, baby! Chris announced that the dreaded 2:1 date is happening this week. Do we think that Chris just hangs out in the Bahamas for the week? If so, I want his job. The first date card is for Caila, and it reads, "Let's see if our love is reel!" Leah (once again checking my master list, because I still don't know who she is) is upset and doesn't know why she is here, since Caila has already had a 1:1 date and she has not. Listen, he knows who likes, it is not his fault.

Ben comes in to pick up Caila and if looks and actions could kill, Leah would kill him with her attitude. She is NOT happy. Ben tells Caila that they are going deep sea fishing, super romantic in my opinion (completely kidding).

The show continues to go back to Leah's interview and her being upset and not wanting to go on a group date or the 2:1 date. I get it to some extent. You give up your life to go on this show and then you don't get attention from the guy who is the reason you are there. But, what did they think they signed up for. Enjoy the Bahamas, have a mimosa and be happy you are there.

31-60 minutes:

Ben says that Caila is always smiley and he isn't sure how she is feeling at times. Caila admits that her greatest fear is that she is worried she will break Ben's heart.

During all of this we find out that the twin and Olivia are going on the 2:1 date. YES! This will be epic, if it happens, I see something stopping from this epic showdown happening, but we will see. Olivia says, "Emily is young, she's like a bird!" How can you not semi like Olivia after that comment?

Back to Ben being confused with how Caila is feeling. I didn't love Caila at first, but I do think she is a smart and sincere person. And hey they can start a software sales company together, so that's an added bonus. Caila gets the rose!

The group date starts and Ben says he just wants to have fun. His idea of his fun is swimming with pigs. Yes, you read that right! The idea is to feed and swim with wild pigs in the Bahamas. "This is like a bar in Dallas, there are pigs everywhere!" Apparently, Pig Beach, is a real thing in the Bahamas. Who needs dolphins, when you have pigs?

All the girls are acting uncomfortable and Ben doesn't know why it is happening. Men! How can you date 6 women and keep them happy, when it is near impossible to date one female and keep her happy? Leah confronts Ben about not being chosen for the 1:1, and he seems genuinely disinterested in the fact that she is upset. He seems upset that she isn't trying to make the best of this date and this moment.

61-90 minutes:

Ben is going to get it handed to him tonight. He walks in and says he doesn't want to leave anything out on the table. He admits he could have done better at taking ladies away from the situation. This is the first time this season that I don't feel like Ben is being sincere. I think he is completely leading some of these ladies on. I must admit, I agree with my Granny on this point, stop making out with everyone and decide if you like them or not!!

Leah pulls Ben away, and she has mistake written all over her forehead. If you ever find yourself on the Bachelor, don't talk about him with other people and for gosh sake do not throw his favorite lady under the bus. Stick to you and you alone, do not think that you bringing up the other girls will help you stick around. It wont. Lauren B. uses her spidey senses and interrupts Leah talking with Ben. On a side note, I wonder how Ben feels about all the girl's frizzy Bahama's hair? He is thinking they may need better extensions, he knows just the place.

Leah, Leah, Leah. I am so thankful, I had no idea who you were throughout this season. Ben gives the rose to Amanda. Back at the house all of the girls talk about what happened on the group date, while Leah heads to Ben's room. Ya, I don't see this unfolding anything like Kaitlyn and Nick's romantic tryst, but hey I have been wrong before.

Ben's face throughout Leah's speech...

Goodbye, Leah!

91-120 minutes:

The 2:1 date starts, Olivia is confident and Emily is spending her time talking about how he hopes Ben will see the real Olivia. First of all, it is windy, I feel like they shouldn't be on a boat. Olivia and Ben are talking about last week and how she is strong, confident and intimidating. And she finally tells him something that she has been telling America since day 1, she is in love with him!

Emily and Ben start talking and surprisingly she leaves Olivia out of it. There is absolutely no kiss during this chat, and let's be real Ben almost made out with the pigs on the group date. He likes to spread his love. On another note, I am sure this is a hurricane and they should have moved this party inside. Emily forgot her scrunchie back at her mom's house. Ben proceeds to fix her hair, he has a thing for hair.

Ben grabs the rose and takes Olivia on a walk. He ends up saying that he can't give her the rose because he is not feeling the same way as she is. Good for him for being honest, but I so do not agree with him taking the rose to tell her this. Not a cool move, Ben. He apparently was not creeped out by Emily's lack of having any sort of grownup item in her bedroom and ended up giving her the rose.

Ben decides he doesn't have it in him to hold a cocktail party, so he goes straight to the rose ceremony. Spoiler, he does not swan dive into the ocean.

The 2nd Rose Ceremony:
Caila, Amanda and Emily have roses already.

Becca
JoJo
Lauren B.

No rose:
Lauren H.
There is no carpool pickup line in her future, I'm afraid!

Ok, this season is intense!! Two rose ceremonies in one night is a lot to take in, and no wonder Ben was spent. Whew. I am surprised with his choice to keep Emily around, and I am not reading too much into the spoiler of her saying that she can't believe she gets to meet his parents. Maybe they do that earlier this season? I just don't see her being in the top two.

Don't forget to check the link-up below for other Bachelor recaps!

Next week is a special show, and someone gets married! Kaitlyn and Shawn would be way too obvious, but honestly I do not have any guesses. What about ya'll? Who do you think will be tying the knot on live television?

Blogging Ben the Bachelor - Week 5

Tonight is a special night. I am actually part of a watch party, a very reluctant watch party, but a watch party nonetheless. My aunts and mom are in town after partying the weekend away at my baby sister's bachelorette party (I know, right? Coolest mom and aunts go to mine)! I am enjoying a bottle of Chardonnay, however it is more of a necessity. It is taking me a solid 48 hours to recover from a 3 day bachelorette party, so I can only imagine what the recovery time for The Bachelor contestant's constant drinking would be!

1-30 minutes
The girls head to Mexico City! Amanda gets a date card, and Olivia is blown away. Not surprised. My mom saw two blondes sitting together and immediately asked if their names were Mary Kate and Ashley. Ben decides to wake up the girls. Am I the only one who would be more pissed about waking up than not having make up on? Amanda and Ben go on a hot air balloon ride over the Mexican ruins. Ben is constantly playing with the girl's hair, has anyone else noticed that? He also pointed out one of the girl's weaves, so maybe he has a hair thing.

Amanda speaks about her issues with her baby daddy and what happened with that situation. The aunts have a lot to say about this one. I remind them that I barely remember my 21st year of life, so I am pretty sure I would have picked going out with friends too, but hey that's why I'm not on teen mom (you'll get it later)! I am thinking Amanda will make it to the top 4, and be let go.

31-60 minutes
The girls get ready for the big group date. They are going to immerse themselves in Mexico City today, i.e. learn Spanish. Jubilee hates competing with 9 other girls, maybe that is her problem, don't look at it as a competition. I live in Mexico (no, not really) and have not learned Spanish, so I can relate to this lesson.

I love Olivia's attitude, I feel like she is one of those perpetually "in the clouds" type person. Yes she is slightly crazy but good for her for always being in the moment. I have a feeling none of these girls are cooks, or plan to ever be a cook. Too bad stepford wife, Lauren H. is not on this date. She would totally nail the carpool line, come home and make the perfect feast. I love Lula, "It looks like dog food, Nico!" Jubilee and Lauren B. win the cooking competition, which clearly proves you don't need to love the person you are cooking with. Also, remember that Jubilee's favorite food is hot dog, so clearly Lauren took the lead on this one.

61-90 minutes
Ben once again lets Lauren B. know how much he likes her by taking her on a private walking tour of the streets of Mexico City. She is still my pick for winner, and I do think he makes it clear how he feels about her. Cruel and unusual punishment is sitting next to Jubilee on the date couch, I am sorry for Caila. As one of my aunt's said, "Jubilee is pouty bitch." Ben is honest and says he can't see himself with her and sends her home on the date. Where was her limo crying session? I may have missed it, but didn't see it. Jojo steals Ben and they have a nice makeout session.

Ben does not know Lauren H. She is the LAST one I would send on a fashion date, and I know nothing about fashion. Lauren is not my favorite and for some reason I decided to google her admission questions, which made me like her even less. She just seems so anxious to jump on the soccer mom bandwagon, which is a red flag!

91-120 minutes
The aunts thought the outfits were ugly, we loved Ben's wink to Lauren and proceeded to practice our winks for a few minutes during the commercial break. I am going to be honest here and admit that I do not remember their dinner conversation very well, so moving on!

The rose ceremony starts and from all of the commercials we know that Olivia stirs up shit. Olivia whips out the "teen mom" comment. The twin is upset because she is thinking that she is damn lucky to not have become a teen mom. At this point the girls would take any chance they get to put in a bad word for Olivia. I get it is offensive, but honestly she could have meant a few other things. I never support running to the bachelor and tattling, I just think it is an extremely insecure move.

Who is the girl in the pink dress? I need my master list, and shame on ABC for never even giving her a name tag. And then all of a sudden the "to be continued..." pops up! COME ON, Bachelor.

This episode is a good example of why I sometimes loathe the show. Let's get past the drama, the female shaming and the narking and focus on the his top 3!

Until next Monday,
